Distinguished citizens of Sudan, I extend warm congratulations on this momentous occasion of our Independence Day. We honor the profound sacrifices of our ancestors, whose dedication, perseverance, and courage secured our nation’s sovereignty. We pay tribute to the founding fathers and to all citizens who have demonstrated remarkable resilience throughout our nation’s challenges.
Our deepest respect goes to the members of the Sudanese Armed Forces who steadfastly defend our territorial integrity and national interests. We pray for the fallen, seek healing for the wounded, and remain hopeful for lasting peace.
This critical juncture in our nation’s history has unified our collective consciousness. To our fellow citizens across Darfur, Kordofan, and all regions, we reaffirm our commitment to national unity. Just as Sudanese from all corners rallied in previous generations to secure our independence, we shall again stand united.
I acknowledge the political forces that have remained committed to our national cause. The path of national reconciliation remains open to all who genuinely seek the homeland’s welfare. The republic of Sudan welcomes diverse voices united in building a modern state founded on citizenship, equality, equity and the rule of law.
I reiterate that our vision encompasses all Sudanese in constructing a prosperous nation that honors its heritage while embracing progress. Together, through dialogue and mutual respect, we shall overcome present challenges and fulfill our collective aspirations for a stable, just, and unified Sudan.
We remain confident in our nation’s wisdom and committed to the sovereignty and integrity of the republic of Sudan.
